This series equips PCN physicians and APPs with the knowledge and skills needed to accurately bill for patient care services, supporting compliance, efficiency, and appropriate reimbursement.

CERTIFICATES and CE BROKER
Certificates are available immediately upon completion of the evaluation.  For Florida licensed participants, credit can be reported to CE Broker if a valid license number is entered in your profile (both alpha and numeric, no spaces or dashes).  CE Broker cannot process credit without an accurate license number.  Participants are encouraged to print and retain the certificate for your records.

1. I can differentiate between preventive and problem-based services and identify when both may be appropriately billed during the same encounter.
2. I can identify opportunities to capture additional services (e.g., modifiers, add-on codes) in alignment with current guidelines.
3. I can improve my documentation practices to support continuity of care, quality reporting, and accurate representation of patient complexity.
4. I can utilize the appropriate EHR tools to support documentation and coding within the clinical workflow.
5. I recognize common documentation and coding pitfalls that may lead to underreporting or non-compliant billing.
