Disclosure Policy

AdventHealth Orlando is accredited by the entities shown above, all who follow the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medication Education (ACCME) Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education.  Regardless of education type, these standards require everyone in a position to control educational content complete a disclosure to be presented to learners prior to the activity which includes the CPD Committee, planners, CME staff, faculty, presenters and panel members.

  • Disclosure includes all financial relationships with any commercial interest within the past 24-months, current and ended, that could be perceived as a conflict of interest.
    • Any individual who refuses to disclose financial relationships will be disqualified from being a planning committee member, a teacher or an author of CME and cannot have control of or responsibility for the development, management, presentation or evaluation of a CME activity.
    • In the case of a presenter/faculty refusing to disclose after the activity has been promoted, credit will be revoked for the presentation.
  • CPD Committee Members who approve education for AdventHealth Orlando have no financial relationships to disclose and mitigation was not needed.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

All requests must be made in writing to the CPD Department prior to the date of the event.

Live In-Person, and Blended (live and virtual attendance) Activities

AdventHealth Orlando reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course due to unforeseen circumstances.  In the event of cancellation, if there was a registration fee, the registration fee will be refunded.  AdventHealth Orlando is not responsible for costs incurred such as non-refundable airline tickets or hotel penalties.   The refund will be issued in the same form as the registration was received.

Credits can not be claimed on a cancelled course.
