Objectives
At the end of this course, participants should be able to:

  1. Describe the relationship between environmental factors, food quality, and human health outcomes, including the role of nutrition and lifestyle medicine in preventing and managing chronic disease.
  2. Apply evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle medicine principles to support whole-person, patient-centered care in clinical practice.
  3. Demonstrate practical strategies—such as culinary medicine techniques, shared medical appointments, and workflow integration—to incorporate nutrition-focused interventions into routine care.
  4. Collaborate effectively within an interprofessional healthcare team to implement coordinated, preventive care approaches that address root causes of disease and improve patient outcomes.
