1. Describe recent advances in the diagnosis and surveillance of Barrett’s esophagus.
2. Explain the pre- and post-operative evaluation of the symptomatic patient with GERD.
3. Identify patients with Barrett's esophagus who are appropriate candidates for endoscopic eradication therapy including endoscopic mucosal resection and radiofrequency ablation.
4. Discuss medical vs. surgical options in the management of foregut disorders, especially Gastroesophageal reflux disease, and obesity.
