Objectives
At the end of this course, participants should be able to:

  1. Describe the severity of disease in acute pancreatitis.
  2. Acquire current evidence-based practices for the management of acute pancreatitis.
  3. Provide a multidisciplinary approach to treat necrotizing pancreatitis using including medical, endoscopic, percutaneous, and surgical management.
  4. Define the role of endoscopy and surgery in the management of chronic pancreatitis.
  5. Describe the role of interventional endoscopic ultrasound in the management of pancreatitis and pancreatic malignancy.
  6. Clarify management tools for pancreatic cysts using a guideline-based approach.
