2021 Robotics: TORS Advanced Course (Transoral Surgery)

This Advanced Transoral Robotic Surgery (TORS) Course trains the surgeons whom have already completed the Intuitive Surgical Technical Training Course or another 3rd party basic course on the daVinci surgical platform. The content of this course focuses on the safe treatment of patients with upper aerodigestive benign and malignant disease.

This training is available for surgeons that have already completed the intuitive Robotics: TORS Basic course, or another 3rd party basic course on the daVinci surgical platform.

Registration Fees: Surgeons $3,600

• Includes lectures, course-related materials and course-related meals.

Cancellation Policy:

• Full Refund:  Cancellations must be made45-days prior to the course.
• Partial Refund: Cancellations made less than 45-days prior to the course are subject to a $100 administrative fee.

1. Identify the proper patient candidates for Transoral Robotic Surgery (TORS).
2. Demonstrate the proper positioning & robot docking for the Transoral Robotic Surgery (TORS) patient.
3. Employ the proper robotic surgical technique in the following procedures; radical tonsillectomy, partial glossectomy, and supraglottic laryngectomy on a cadaveric model.
