2020 Orlando Live Endoscopy (OLE) for Nurses and Technicians

Developing a world-class endoscopy unit requires a proficient team. It is critical that the physicians, endoscopy nurses and technicians partner to achieve this goal. This symposium will provide new techniques and refine existing practices in order to provide the attendee with a comprehensive didactic and hands-on experience. Live demonstrations will be performed by internationally renowned experts. The live procedures will prepare the attendees to comprehend the critical role they play in procedural outcomes and highlight the latest developments in endoscopic approaches to gastrointestinal and pancreaticobiliary diseases. Cutting-edge techniques and the latest technology will be demonstrated in a practical manner to make it possible for the participants to integrate this experience into their clinical programs.

Certificates are awarded after the evaluation has been submitted and will be available to print immediately.  If you have a Florida license and would like credit(s) to be uploaded to CE Broker, your license number must be entered on your profile.  CE Broker will not accept credit(s) without the license number.

You are encouraged to print and save your certificate for your portfolio as required by your licensing body.

1. Discuss recent endoscopic innovations and techniques and their clinical utility and effectiveness in disease management.
2. Describe how to operate endoscopic accessories and effectively assist during a procedure.
3. Discuss endoscope reprocessing and disinfection.
4. Identify best practices in endoscopic treatment of medical emergencies and patient preparation for advanced endoscopic procedures.
5. Recognize the importance of an interdisciplinary approach to patient management.

AdventHealth Orlando is accredited by the Florida Medical Association (FMA) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Designation Statement

This program is approved for 16.0 Nursing Continuing Education Hours by the Florida State Board of Nursing, Provider Number NEC2012/CE Broker Number #50-7224. No partial credit will be awarded. Participants must attend both days to receive their continuing education certificate.
