Celebration: Allyson Lomberk, BSN, RNC-OB, C-EFM
Allyson has been a perinatal nurse for over 36 years. She received her Psychiatric Nursing Diploma in 1984 and her RN diploma in 1988. Allyson finished her BSN from AdventHealth University in 2014. She is currently enrolled in her Master of Science in Nursing, educator track and should graduate in the Fall of 2026. She was born and raised in Canada and moved to the Orlando area in 2002. Allyson became a proud U.S Citizen in 2010. She worked at a high-risk L&D unit in Canada for 17 years and in 2002 she began her career at Celebration Health L&D. Allyson has taught prenatal classes for many years to expecting parents from 1994-2005. Allyson has worked in high-risk labor and delivery, LDRP, nursery, Antepartum, Mother-Infant and has experience with Gynecological patients. Allyson has been a staff nurse, triage nurse, charge nurse, scrub nurse, prenatal instructor, and Assistant Nurse Manager prior to becoming the Perinatal Nurse Educator at Celebration in April 2017. She was one of three staff to develop the Fetal Nurse Consultant role in the ED at Celebration in 2016-2017. Allyson has her RNC Inpatient Obstetrics, RNC Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certifications and has been a longstanding member of AWHONN. Allyson was a co-presenter at AWHONN National Convention in June 2022 for our poster presentation on “Roadshow Paves the Way”, describing lowering our NTSV rates at our campuses. She was a co-presenter at AWHONN National Convention in 2023 Hemorrhage, Birth, & Hypertension, OH My! Allyson is married to Bruce and has 2 grandchildren. During her time, off, Allyson and her husband enjoy traveling on cruises, she loves Cricut crafting, and they both enjoy their 4 Goldendoodle puppies, and 2 labradoodle puppies.
