Dr Varadarajulu is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology-Hepatology. He specializes in the treatment of complex pancreatic and biliary disorders with particular expertise in Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and Therapeutic ERCP. His other areas of procedural expertise include interventional EUS, endoscopic management of pancreatic fluid collections, sphincter of Oddi manometry and luminal dilation and stent placement.

Dr Varadarajulu is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Central Florida and is the Medical Director of CIE. He was formerly an Associate Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics and Chief of Endoscopy at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He has more than 210 peer reviewed publications, 25 textbook chapters and is the Editor of the textbook ENDOSONOGRAPHY. He was also a Section Editor (Endoscopy) for the American Gastroenterological Association journal Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology and currently an Deputy Editor-in-Chief for the journal Digestive Endoscopy. He is an author in UpToDate and reviews for more than 30 professional journals.
